Wow, I know this is a local news story, but it has some errors. Arron Flynn isn't the CEO of Bioware, and Mass 3 is coming to PS3 also.
LOL.
If any of the games in the series past are an indication, probably a long time.
I want new maps.
A tad extreme for Death threats? No it's unacceptable, it's a videogame get over it, no one in their right mind would ever think it's all right to send a a death threat over a game. You're glad people are sticking to their guns and not eating up crap from developers, so they way to stick it to them is to threaten to kill them, under no circumstance is this right, if you do not like this game, do not buy it. And anyway NT was given the creative freedom to do this, whether or no...
Don't care if it does or doesn't, I just need more God of War.
Why did they even make this game? 13 was mediocre at best, it did have some pretty graphics though.
Loved Alan Wake on the 360, I'm going to pick it up right when hits steam. I do kind of wish for a PS3 version, the achievements were easy, so it would be an easy Platinum.
Cool, defiantly pre-ordering this.
Totally agree with you man, watching their past 2 E3 conferences is both depressing and infuriating. It sucks because the 360 was an awesome console back in 06,07,08, but after that it went downhill. They're relying on the 3rd parties too much and from a gamers perspective and not sales perspective that sucks, because the PS3 gets all those games and more. I mean thats why everyone was so down on Sony in the begining of the gen because it didn't have that many exclusives, but now the ...
I thought exclusives didn't matter?
They probably still own the publishing rights to the first Alan Wake on consoles, a la the Mass Effect. But this does bring up the question of Alan Wake 2's exclustivity, I mean American Nightmare is an Xbla game, but with Remedy self publishing the PC port of AW, I would imagine there's somewhat of a rift between them and Microsoft.
Here's the thing, I don't care about what console sales, I care about games. I'm going to play games no matter the platform, but you can't sit here and say well the the 360 doesn't have as many exclusive games, so that nulls the PS3's exclusives and and now multiplats are way better. Now whether or not you like those exclusives is up to, but you can't deny that the PS3 has an advantage in the games department due to the great multiplatforms it gets and the great ex...
I agree with this, MS was doing awesome in 2007,then they lost three of their big studios Bioware, Bizarre, and Bungie. I think that's what hurt them the most, that and just deciding to abandon IPs that didn't sell well, Lost Odyssey being one. They just stuck to the games they knew would sell, Halo, Forza, Fable, and Gears.
It's simple really, you can get all those great games on 360 and more. That's the shortchangeing feeling. Sony is putting out new IPs and established exclusives at an amazing rate, plus the PS3 owner also gets all those great multiplats like Mass Effect 3, Bioshock Infinite, and GTA 5. While Microsoft gives Gears, Halo, and Fable and no new major IPs.
Then add in the fact that the PC is also getting some of the 360's exclusives like Fable 3 and Alan Wake,(which I&...
This. I buy a lot of games, collectors editions and etc. I've probably spent in the 2200 range, and that pretty much picking up every major release on every platform.
The guy in the article is defiantly doing something wrong.
Why does it matter so much if Solid is in the title, cause you know 2/3s of the Metal Gear Solid name is still there, Metal Gear.
Agree with you on Deus Ex, but Dead Space 2 was one of the best games of the year. It's sad that it won't get a lot of consideration for GOTY because it released in January.
@aquamala That's great, looks like PS3 will have plenty of great AAA titles then.
I'm really excited, RE is the one franchise this gen that Capcom hasn't completely messed up. While RE5 wasn't a horror game in anyway, I still thought it was a good game, and probably the best Capcom has released this gen. So if there's any franchise that can take Capcom back to the glory days it's RE. Now hopefully Squeenix can find a game that can bring them back.
